THE One Show have announced two permanent presenters will be joining Alex Jones – and you’re bound to recognise them.
The BBC evening talk show has seen several guests host the show with Alex since her former co-host Matt Baker left the programme last year.
Two of those guests were Jermaine Jenas, 38, and Ronan Keating, 44, but now the pair have become the newest permanent additions to the presenting team.
Starting from Monday May 10, Jermaine will co-present with Alex Jones, 44, from Monday-Wednesday, with Ronan joining her on the sofa on Thursday and Friday each week.
Former Tottenham ace Jermaine said: “I’ve absolutely loved being a part of The One Show, Alex, the team and the viewers have made me feel so welcome and we’ve had a lot of fun already.
“I’m really looking forward to joining as a full time host alongside Ronan.”
Ronan added: ‘’I’m so delighted to officially be a part of The One Show family.
“It’s a show I’ve loved for many years as both a guest and a host and I can’t wait to get started alongside Alex, Jermaine and the wonderful team behind the scenes.”
Alex, who has hosted the show since 2010, said she is excited to have Jermaine and Ronan on the show permanently.
“Presenting The One Show is such a special privilege, especially in the last year – I am proud of the role we’ve played in keeping the nation company through these difficult times,” she shared.

The One Show airs at 7pm each weekday evening on BBC One.
